FFP sights are nearly useless when hunting, the crosshair is to small and black on black/brown is hard to see. It is very clear and with the Red and Green reticles with variable brightness it was more than I expected for an inexpensive scope. The Red Dot helps with hunting destrutive hogs at night. Great product!

Don't go cheap on glass as it will not hold up to hard use. You need to be into the 1800$ up glass. Preferably 34mm. Reticle is important and you will want a tree style.
